Applicant – FAQ

Are you hiring?

You can find our live job opportunities on most major job listing sites, like Indeed. Just go to the site and search for our company. We have an existing roster of staff that we utilize and only hire when we need more people for a growing market. If you can’t find a job online, you can apply to be on our waiting list at https://kinetic-events.breezy.hr/p/2c1c10fba673.

What kinds of jobs do you hire for?

Our primary type of work is in customer service.  We provide support for a wide variety of events and short to mid-term projects but the primary focus is always on service.  Typical positions at these events are registration attendant, wayfinder, greeter, coat check, ticket taking, badge scanning, info desk support, room monitoring, ushers, transportation assistant, brand ambassador and retail support.  We do work that we refer to as “front of house”.  Customer or attendee facing instead of behind the scenes.

Is this full-time work?

Generally no, but sometimes yes. The volume of work opportunities that we will have for you will vary by market, season, and the needs of our various clients.  In a given month, we might have a dozen work opportunities for you or 1 or 2.  We try our best to keep existing staff as busy as we can, but you should think of this work as on demand and closer to gig work.  It’s a great side hustle or part-time opportunity, but it is not likely going to be a good fit to be your primary source of income unless the job specifically says its full time.

How much do jobs pay?

Jobs vary in pay amount based on the client and the job requirements. Generally speaking, rates are roughly in line with wages you might find in retail or other customer service positions. Every job we offer will have the hourly rate clearly visible for you.  You will always know what a particular job will pay.  In states or situations where overtime applies, we pay that at the appropriate rate as well.

I just submitted my video, what happens now

Our Hiring Team will review your questionnaire and follow up via email & text with an offer letter if your availability and experience align with what we are looking for. Please note that due to the high interest in some of our postings,  we may not be able to bring you onboard, but we will keep your application on file and reach out if we believe you are a good fit for any roles we are staffing for in your area in the future.

Is there a place where I can apply for future jobs?

If you do not see any job listings in your market, you can encourage you to submit your application for future jobs here and we will reach out to you directly if and when we have work available.

How often do staff get paid?

Staff are paid weekly based on a Monday to Sunday work week.  Our preferred method of payment is direct deposit but you can choose to have check payments sent to you as well.  Payments typically post on Thursday or Friday for the prior week's pay period.

Did you receive my application? I haven't heard back.

Did I get the job?
